DESCRIPTION:The UC Davis Department of Public Health Sciences is pleased to
  share that the 2027 applications are now open for our Master of Public He
 alth (MPH) and Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences programs. We would apprecia
 te your help sharing these opportunities with students\, alumni\, and othe
 rs in your community who may be interested in pursuing graduate training i
 n public health.\nMaster of Public Health (MPH)\nThe UC Davis MPH is an ac
 celerated program that begins in August and is completed the following spr
 ing. Students can choose between a Generalist or Epidemiology track and re
 ceive interdisciplinary training in core areas of public health. The progr
 am also includes an applied practicum experience\, allowing students to pu
 t their training into practice in a professional public health setting.\nP
 h.D. in Public Health Sciences\nThe UC Davis Ph.D. in Public Health Scienc
 es prepares students to become independent public health researchers and l
 eaders. Students receive rigorous training in epidemiology\, biostatistics
 \, research design\, and advanced research methods while developing specia
 lized expertise through individualized areas of concentration and close fa
