About

The 2025 recipient of the CHASS Faculty Excellence in Research and/or Creative Activities Award, Jennifer Doyle, will read from "Work-in-Progress," a short book addressing sex testing and the policing of the boundaries between men's and women's sports. Event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Professor Jennifer Doyle exemplifies a scholar who mobilizes creativity to enhance and expand research horizons, as well as to bridge the gaps between academic scholarship and wider artistic spheres. Her academic scholarship also demonstrates a creative approach to studies of sexuality and queerness as they intersect with larger social dynamics and spaces. In all, Professor Doyle’s academic and artistic career demonstrates excellence worthy of celebration and achievement, most particularly in how she speaks directly to and with the academic and artistic communities.
