The UC Davis Department of Public Health Sciences is pleased to share that the 2027 applications are now open for our Master of Public Health (MPH) and Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences programs. We would appreciate your help sharing these opportunities with students, alumni, and others in your community who may be interested in pursuing graduate training in public health. Master of Public Health (MPH) The UC Davis MPH is an accelerated program that begins in August and is completed the following spring. Students can choose between a Generalist or Epidemiology track and receive interdisciplinary training in core areas of public health. The program also includes an applied practicum experience, allowing students to put their training into practice in a professional public health setting. Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences The UC Davis Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences prepares students to become independent public health researchers and leaders. Students receive rigorous training in epidemiology, biostatistics, research design, and advanced research methods while developing specialized expertise through individualized areas of concentration and close faculty mentorship.
